Finding the time to make books is never easy, but I’m here to help. I’ve been designing books through Blurb.com since 2008 for clients all over the world. Thanks to Dropbox, photo files can be shared easily by setting up a free account at Dropbox.com. I also accept email submission or flash drives mailed through the USPS.
I have a unique ‘mosaic’ style of arranging photos in books that uses the page to its fullest. What sets Blurb apart is the ability to print 440 pages. I regularly design books that hold 300+ photographs. My layouts are 90% custom built for every project. Efficient use of space without compromising the storytelling power of each photograph means you save money. No detail is overlooked when I design books.
I am an expert in the field of print on demand book design with a portfolio of over 130 book projects - or 27,000+ pages.
In 2017 I added fiber artist to my resume of creative endeavors. Working with yarn, whether in crochet or knit form, has given me the freedom to do something besides stare a computer screen all day. They say variety is the spice of life and I am a better book designer because I’m constantly stretching my creative muscles out of their comfort zone. I am passionate about helping people preserve their memories and inspire you to get your photos off your phones & computers and into print. I share a variety of tips and tricks over on my blog.
SUMMER 2021 UPDATE: The book design program that I have used for the past 13 years is no longer being updated by the printing company I use and therefore I have to discontinue offering any books that have more than a one or two sentence caption under a photo. From here on out I will only offer photo books with less than 500 words.
